VERMnacular: ‘jo-nap’ [hoe-nap] n.

1. Slang for “Viejo nap.” The sleepy condition that results from eating at Mexico Viejo. While the cause of the sleepiness is unknown, the “‘jo nap” is often the final chapter in the Mexico Viejo dining experience.

Sample 1:

“What are you doing after lunch?”

“I’ll probably take a ‘jo nap.”

Sample 2:

“Why weren’t you in history class this afternoon?”

“My friends and I ate a big lunch at Mexico Viejo, and then I took a ‘jo nap and slept through class.”
