In the know & in the dark: October 10

IN THE KNOW: D-Days safety. The Vermillion Police Department deserves credit for keeping everyone safe.

IN THE DARK: No more excuses of saying, “It’s Just D-Days” week. 362 days until D-Days 2013. But who is counting?

IN THE KNOW: Native American day. It’s a holiday that us students took for granted, but should understand why you didn’t do anything on Monday.

IN THE DARK: People who didn’t understand why we didn’t have school Monday. It’s an important part of South Dakota history.

IN THE KNOW: The new Old Lumber Company Bar and Grille located in downtown Vermillion. That place is almost too nice for Vermillion.

IN THE DARK: The football team once again failing to win their Missouri Valley Football Conference game. If we can’t beat Western Illionis what is going to happen when we play Noth Dakota State or South Dakota State?

IN THE KNOW: The Coyote statue showing off USD pride 24/7 to any and every one.

IN THE DARK: Coyote Crazies disappearing at halftime of the homecoming football game. The team needs support the most in the fourth quarter. Not during the opening kick-off.
