Student talent on display at Pavilion

 

The University of South Dakota will host its annual Night at the Pavilion on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The event will begin with an hors d’eouvres reception hosted by USD Admissions from 5 to 7 p.m. During this time, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with  USD admissions staff and current Fine Arts students.

The reception will also feature representatives from all five of USD’s undergraduate colleges, such as Beacom School of Business, the College of Arts & Sciences, the School of Education and the School of Health Sciences.

Following the reception, the College of Fine Arts will host a number of performances from USD’s music and theatre students. Performances will include a jazz ensemble,  symphonic band, chamber choir, orchestra performance, vocal solos and duets and outtakes from recent theatre productions “Madea” and “Brigadoon.” USD art students will also display their work throughout the Pavilion.
