A two vehicle car accident in the parking lot of the Freedom Valu Center on Cherry Street sent one person to the hospital late Monday morning.
At around 11:15 a.m. first responders from the Vermillion Police Department, Vermillion EMS and the Vermillion Fire Department arrived at the Freedom convenience store.
Shannon Draper, chief of the VFD, said one person was temporarily “pinned” in the accident and sustained injuries. The person was taken by ambulance to receive medical treatment.
