Mitchell Couple’s Dog Graces Ducks Unlimited Magazine Cover

MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) — A dog owned by a Mitchell couple is getting a share of the spotlight.

The Daily Republic ( ) reports 4-year-old Chesapeake Bay retriever Kimber is pictured on the May/June issue of Ducks Unlimited magazine. She has also been featured in various products and promotions for hunting companies Sport Dog and Benelli in the past three years.

Kimber is owned by T.J. and Lori Greer, who say the dog seems to love the camera.

The Greers have trained Kimber to hunt, and she has her Hunting Retriever Club title.

The couple says the Ducks Unlimited cover is getting more attention than they expected, and that they’re thankful for Kimber’s opportunities.
