Man Wanted On Multiple Felony Warrants Arrested In SD

BOX ELDER, S.D. (AP) — A man wanted on multiple felony warrants is now in custody after law enforcement authorities located him in western South Dakota with the help from several tips.

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Jessie Krebs was arrested Monday in Box Elder.

The sheriff’s office says authorities received several tips Monday indicating that Krebs was in the Box Elder area. Deputies with the help of the Box Elder Police Department located Krebs in a trailer home where he was hiding inside a closet.

Authorities say Krebs was arrested on multiple charges including aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance and burglary.

Pennington County Jail records show Krebs is being held without bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
