Cheyenne Alexis: Why did you choose your major?

Jacey Siegfried: I like helping people. I’ve had experience with physical therapy and athletic trainers. I like that career, that’s why I chose it.

JS: I think helping kids being able to continue on with sports and just do stuff that they love — just being able to do that.

CA: What sports do you like?

JS: I like a bunch — softball, soccer, football, basketball, volleyball. A lot of them.

CA: Do you play any sports?

JS: I used to play volleyball and basketball and track and field. Now, I just do softball in the summer.

CA: What do you like about USD?

JS: I like how it’s open to everybody. There’s a group for everybody. It’s very spread out and unique and everybody kind of has their place.

CA: What is something interesting about you?

JS: I’m an only child — first one to go to college in my family.

CA: Where are you from?

JS: Watertown, SD.

CA: Do you have a role model?

JS: I look up to my dad a lot. He’s strong, get through things. He’s very passionate about what he does.
