USD’s online master’s program in addiction studies ranked third for low cost

USD’s online master’s degree program in addiction counseling was ranked third in a compilation of the nation’s lowest-costing programs.

According to the Best Counseling Degrees website, who compiled the list, this ranking is generating by gathering a list of all colleges who offer an online master’s program in substance abuse and addiction counseling. The schools were then ranked from high to low based on cost per credit hour. USD’s cost per credit hour for this program is $451.

Being on this list means that USD’s program allows students to gain the necessary education with proper training for the professional field, for a low-cost, said the Best Counseling Degrees website.

In a press release sent to The Volante, Amanda Ginder, online relations for Best Counseling Degrees, said she congratulates USD on the honor.

She also said this information provided in this compilation will help prospective students find quality programs.

Above USD on the list was Union College of Barbourville, Kentucky in second and Governor’s State University of University Park, Illinois in first.
