The other pool record was in the 400 medley relay, the first event of the day. The team of Emily Haan, Lehr Thorson, Lucia Rizzo and Sophia Goushchina swam a 4:17.8 to set the pool record.

Four Coyotes recorded runner-up finishes Saturday. Mairead Powers (200 backstroke), Teagan Haberkorn (400 free), Isabel Fairbanks (200 breaststroke) and Stella Fairbanks (3-meter dive) all recorded second place finishes in their events.

One relay also placed second, with the team of Christina Spomer, Emily Kahn, Madilyn Sindelar and Meghan Atwell swimming with a time of 1:50.22 in the 200 free relay.

The Coyote women are back in action this weekend, partaking in the Kansas Tri-Duals in Lawrence, Kan. Friday and Saturday. The Coyote men also make their season debut at the Kansas Tri-Duals.
