Update: The Campus Activities Board announced March 23 they have rescheduled the Hoodie Allen concert for the second time to April 13 at 9 p.m. The organization said the May 5 show was a concern because it might have distracted students from finals week. The show is still being held in Aalfs Auditorium, and tickets for the May 5 show are valid for the new show date. Tickets from the March 19 show are being refunded and are not valid for the April 13 show.

Update: Hoodie Allen responded via Twitter to this article’s student reactions section. Allen has since deleted the tweet.

The Hoodie Allen concert scheduled for Thursday evening was canceled due to a medical emergency. The Campus Activities Board has announced the concert will be rescheduled during finals week on May 5.

I’m very disappointed I can’t be at USD tonight but our show will be rescheduled for May 5th. I would never bail on a commitment to you guys

— Hoodie Allen (@HoodieAllen) March 19, 2015

Tickets will automatically be refunded to credit/debit cards. CAB will have a table in the Muenster University Center Thursday to answer questions. Tickets for the rescheduled concert are on sale. “We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and hope to see you at a later concert date,” CAB said in an email sent to USD students.
