Huron Man Killed When Motorcycle Hits Semi-truck Trailer

HURON, S.D. (AP) — A 44-year-old Huron man has been killed in a motorcycle crash with a semi-truck.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Jimmy Delozier Jr. was driving his motorcycle west on U.S. Highway 14 about 5:30 p.m. Friday when he crossed the lane divider into the left lane and collided with a semi-truck’s trailer heading east. Delozier died at the scene.

The truck driver, 49-year-old James Johnson, of Clark, was not hurt.

The crash closed both westbound lanes for a short time as traffic was diverted around the crash scene.

The Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
