2 Sioux Falls Teens Jailed On $1M Bond For Fatal Shooting
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Two Sioux Falls teens charged with killing a man they were fighting with are in the Sioux Falls jail on $1 million bond each.
Seventeen-year-old Connor Hanson and 19-year-old Robert Montes made their first court appearance Tuesday on first- and second-degree murder and manslaughter charges.
They’re accused of firing shots at a car driven by 18-year-old Anthony Lee Gabriel, of Sioux Falls, last Thursday. Gabriel was shot in the head and died Sunday. His 20-year-old girlfriend and her 5-month old baby were also in the car but weren’t injured.
Witnesses say the two cars had been chasing each other and the shooting happened near the Empire Mall.
