Director Of VA Black Hills Health Care System Retiring
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Veterans Affairs Black Hills Health Care System Director Stephen DiStasio plans to retire at the end of the month.
The VA says Jo-Ann Ginsberg will become acting director March 1 and will serve in that role during the search for a full-time replacement for DiStasio. Ginsberg joined the Black Hills Health Care System in 2011 as associate director for patient care services.
The Black Hills system consists of medical centers in Hot Springs and Fort Meade, an outpatient clinic in Rapid City and community-based outpatient clinics in 10 rural communities.
