RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — The South Dakota National Guard is celebrating the contribution of women in the U.S. Armed Forces by bringing a military uniform exhibit to college campuses in the state.

The Women’s History Month military uniform exhibit will feature service uniforms from several time periods. The free exhibit at several of the state’s public universities will offer the history of the uniforms on display and of the women who wore them.

The exhibit begins March 2 at Black Hills State University and wraps up at the South Dakota National Guard Museum in Pierre on April 3.
