Authorities Find Meth In Child’s Diaper, Parents Indicted
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Three Sioux Falls residents have been indicted on drug and child abuse charges following reports from social workers who said say they found a bag of meth in a child’s diaper.
The Argus Leader reports ( ) Alex Robinson, Naomi Redowl and McKeasha Parks were charged in a two-count indictment. Authorities allege that social workers found a small bag of methamphetamine in the diaper of the 2-year-old child of two of the suspects.
Police spokesman Sam Clemens says the three were initially arrested for shoplifting at Walmart. The 2-year-old was then taken into protective custody at the Children’s Inn. Social workers there say they found the drugs.
It’s unclear whether the three have attorneys.
