Parolee Charged After Abandoning Car In Rapid City Dirt Pile
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A parolee from the South Dakota State Penitentiary was arrested after he abandoned his car in a Rapid City construction area.
Twenty-three-year-old Lawrence Theberge, of Rapid City, is charged with ingestion of a controlled substance, first offense driving under the influence, and no proof of insurance. Theberge’s parole was also placed on hold.

Theberge had been sentenced to four years in prison in 2013.
