State Rolls Out Mobile-friendly Database For Job Seekers

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — On-the-go Job seekers in South Dakota can now access a mobile-friendly version of the state’s largest jobs database.

The state Department of Labor and Regulation announced on Tuesday the new SDWORKS site, which the department says offers faster speeds and easier portability.

Labor and Regulation Secretary Marcia Hultman says the new site gives a significant number of job seekers an easier method of looking for work.

The update also gives people looking for jobs the option of searching by location. It also makes it easier for military veterans to search for work.

Hultman says the site allows the state to better serve people who rely on tablets and phones to connect to the Internet.
