Florida Man Arrested For 1989 Slaying In South Dakota
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A Florida man has been arrested on a first-degree murder charge in connection with a slaying more than 25 years ago in South Dakota’s Minnehaha County.
Fifty-seven-year-old Kim Aune, of Lee County, Florida, was indicted earlier this week in South Dakota and arrested in Florida. Authorities are working to bring him back to South Dakota face the charge.
It was not immediately clear if Aune had an attorney.
He’s accused of shooting his girlfriend, Kimberly Eidsness, on Nov. 13, 1989, at their home east of Sioux Falls.
