Huron Police Arrest Boys They Think Vandalized 100 Vehicles
HURON, S.D. (AP) — Police in Huron say they have arrested four juveniles they believe are responsible for vandalizing more than 100 vehicles in less than a week.
The Huron Police Department arrested the four male juveniles early Saturday morning following a traffic stop.
KELO-TV reports ( ) the boys were in the car with a cash register, BB guns and BBs. The cash register had been reportedly stolen from a local Asian grocery store the night before.
All four boys were arrested and now face charges of burglary, theft, ingestion of a substance for the purpose of intoxication, and multiple counts of personal property damage.
They are currently sitting in the Beadle County Juvenile Detention Center while they await their first court appearance.
