South Dakota Man Pleads Guilty To Child Abuse

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A Lead man has pleaded guilty to hitting a 15-month-old boy in the head.

The Rapid City Journal ( ) reports 27-year-old Austin Ehnes pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of aggravated child abuse of a child under the age of 7. He was accused to striking the child with an open fist in December 2013.

Ehnes faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for June 2.
