10 Shots Fired At A Car In Sioux Falls; No Injuries Reported

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Police in Sioux Falls say a woman’s car was shot 10 times while parked outside an apartment complex Wednesday.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says the owner of the Grand Prix that was damaged reported hearing the gunshots around 3:20 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Clemens says officers found the vehicle with multiple bullet holes in the front panel and hood.

Clemens says the 21-year-old woman who owns the car doesn’t know why someone would shoot up her car. Clemens adds investigators don’t know if the woman’s car was targeted or it was a random shooting.

Police have not found witnesses so far.
