The Brookings Register ( ) reports three Brookings men decided to film the video and posted it online a couple of days before Obama announced his upcoming trip to the state. Obama ended up not choosing Brookings for his visit, but he will be only about 50 miles away Friday, when he stops in Watertown to deliver the commencement address at Lake Area Technical Institute.
The video was Seth Koch’s idea. Koch says the men thought the video would be a “playful way” to show the “cool things” Brookings has to offer.
