Milwaukee Man Charged In SD With Human Trafficking, Pimping

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A Milwaukee man has been charged with human trafficking for allegedly holding a Sioux Falls woman against her will.

Thirty-year-old Justin Keith is facing charges of second-degree human trafficking, promoting prostitution and pimping.

KELO-TV reports ( ) that Sioux Falls officers responded to an online prostitution ad on Tuesday and arranged to meet a woman in a northeast Sioux Falls apartment. There they found a 23-year-old woman who said Keith was taking her money and threatening her with violence.

Police found Keith at southwest Sioux Falls parking lot on Thursday.

He is in custody at the Minnehaha County jail. Court records don’t indicate he has an attorney yet.

No charges were filed against the Sioux Falls woman.
