Oklahoma Man Identified As Victim In South Dakota Park Crash
WALL, S.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified an Oklahoma man killed in a one-vehicle crash in Badlands National Park in South Dakota.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Richard Vasquez of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, was killed in the crash Saturday afternoon. According to the Highway Patrol, the pickup driven by Vasquez went off state Highway 240 and down a steep embankment, rolling twice.
The patrol says Vasquez was thrown from the pickup and died at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
