Vermillion Voters To Decide Day Care, Beer Cost Questions
VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) — Voters in Vermillion next month will decide whether private, in-home day cares need to be certified by the city.
They also will decide whether the city can charge more for beer at facilities it manages such as the golf course, to help pay for a park pool project.
The Yankton Daily Press & Dakotan reports ( ) that the City Council approved both moves earlier this year, but the actions were referred to a public vote through petition drives.
A special election is scheduled June 30.
