Authorities In SD Looking For 2 Kayakers Who May Be Missing

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Authorities in western South Dakota suspect two people may be missing after kayaks were found partially submerged.

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of the two people whose kayaks were found Tuesday morning in Rapid Creek by the Fish Hatchery.

The department is asking that anyone with information about the kayakers contact the sheriff’s office.

Officials are cautioning that the water levels at Rapid Creek remain high and are extremely dangerous in certain spots.
