Authorities Locate Owners Of Kayaks Found In Rapid Creek

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Authorities have located the owners of two kayaks that were found partially submerged in Rapid Creek in western South Dakota.

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office had been seeking the whereabouts of the two people after the boats were found Tuesday morning.

There was added concern because water levels are high and dangerous in certain areas of Rapid Creek due to recent heavy rains.
