Former Rapid City Custodian Sentenced To 20 Years In Prison
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A former elementary school custodian in Rapid City who pleaded guilty to enticing two teenage girls to email him explicit photographs will serve 20 years in prison.
Acting U.S. Attorney Randy Seiler says 30-year-old Casey Godfrey was sentenced this week. He was convicted of Enticement of a Minor Using the Internet earlier this year.
Authorities say that between July 2013 and January 2014, Godfrey used the Internet to entice two teenage girls to email him explicit photographs.
At the time of his arrest, Godfrey was working as a janitor at Pinedale Elementary School in Rapid City.
His prison sentence will be followed by 20 years of supervised release.
