Milbank Next Up For SD Gov. Daugaard’s Capital For A Day

MILBANK, S.D. (AP) — Milbank is the next South Dakota city set to step in for Pierre in the governor’s Capital for a Day program.

Activities in the northeaster South Dakota community on Thursday will include a main street walk, tours around town, a roundtable meeting and coffee time with Gov. Dennis Daugaard.

Residents are encouraged to attend a 9 a.m. ceremony at the Sculpture Garden where they’ll get a chance to talk one-on-one with Daugaard.

First lady Linda Daugaard will accompany the governor during the activities. She will also read books to children at 11 a.m. at the Grant County Public Library.
