Milwaukee Man Gets 20 Years For Sex Trafficking

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A federal judge has sentenced a Milwaukee man to 20 years in prison for pimping two girls.

The U.S. Attorney’s office said Wednesday that 37-year-old Troy Randle was sentenced on two counts of sex trafficking.

Prosecutors say Randle began prostituting two girls from the time they were 14 through their 17th birthdays, until authorities arrested him in January 2014.

According to the government, Randle controlled the girls through “false expressions of love and loyalty” as well as through physical abuse.

The Journal Sentinel ( ) reports Randle advertised the prostitution online. Prosecutors say some of the sex trafficking took place on streets and at hotels in Milwaukee, but other times he accompanied and provided transportation for the girls to travel to Chicago, South Dakota, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
