Authorities Again Seek Public’s Help In Finding Nebraska Man
INTERIOR, S.D. (AP) — Authorities in western South Dakota are again seeking the public’s help in trying to find a Nebraska man whose vehicle was found in Badlands National Park.
The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Joshua Jacobsen, of Laurel, Nebraska, is believed to have entered the park on July 12. His vehicle was located in the Sage Creek Campground.
Authorities have employed searchers on the ground and in a helicopter to comb large portions of the wilderness area but have found nothing to indicate where Jacobsen might have gone.
Jacobsen is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. He has brown eyes, short black hair and possibly a beard or goatee. He also has tattoos on his right foreman and left upper arm.
