Officials Name Emery Man, 74, Who Died In Single-car Crash
BRIDGEWATER, S.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified an Emery man who was killed in a car crash Friday afternoon near Bridgewater.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 74-year-old Ronald Triebwasser was the passenger in a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan that was traveling west on 261st Street when it left the road as it approached a nearby driveway.
The minivan briefly traveled in the ditch, vaulted off the driveway approach, landed and rolled.
Triebwasser was ejected and died of his injuries.
Seventy-four-year-old Judith Triebwasser was driving and sustained serious non-life threatening injuries.
