SD Regulators Holding Hearing On Keystone XL Pipeline
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission has slated a public hearing on the Keystone XL pipeline project.
KCCR radio reports the hearing is set for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the state Capitol in Pierre. It’s expected to last three hours.
The pipeline would cut through South Dakota and other states to move Canadian oil to the Gulf Coast.
PUC Chairman Chris Nelson says the panel wants to hear public concerns about the pipeline project.
