1 Confirmed Dead In Fiery Head-on Crash On Interstate 90

ALEXANDRIA, S.D. (AP) — One person is confirmed dead after a fiery head-on crash on Interstate 90 near Alexandria.

The Highway Patrol says one of the vehicles involved in the crash about 4:30 p.m. Thursday was going the wrong way on the interstate. Authorities did not immediately determine which vehicle was at fault.

The patrol did not immediately identify the people involved.

The crash brought traffic to a standstill for several hours.
