Military Academy Day To Be Hosted In Rapid City Next Month

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — The office of U.S. Sen. Mike Rounds is hosting an informational seminar in Rapid City next month so students can learn more about enrolling in the nation’s military academies.

Rounds says his office will host a Military Academy Day on Sept. 12 on the campus of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

The seminar is hosted for students interested in attending one of the five service academies: U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.

S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
