Authorities ID Man Who Died In Forklift Accident In Aberdeen
ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who died in a forklift accident in Aberdeen.
Police say 43-year-old Jason Alden, of Mellette, died Tuesday when he was pinned under a storage shed that was being moved with the help of the forklift.
Police Capt. Eric Duven says Alden was standing by as another person operated the forklift. At some point, the shed became unbalanced on the forklift and slid off.
The American News reports ( ) that Alden died at the scene.
Duven says no charges will be filed in the incident.
