South Dakota Legislature Resumes Tuesday For 4-day Week
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The lawmaking process in Pierre is taking a day off.
There’s no session on Monday, but legislators return Tuesday for a four-day week. By the end of Friday, lawmakers will have completed 17 of the 38-day main run of the session.
KCCR-AM reports that procedurally, Tuesday is a big day. It’s the last day for legislators to introduce individual bills and joint resolutions.
