Dental Records Being Used To ID Suspected Workplace Shooter
LENNOX, S.D. (AP) — Authorities are relying on dental records to positively identify the suspected gunman in a fatal workplace shooting in Lennox.
Lincoln County Sheriff Dennis Johnson tells The Associated Press that an autopsy was being done Friday.
A man killed one person and injured two others in the shooting Thursday at a Sioux Steel Co. location known as ProTec. The suspected gunman is believed to be a man found dead inside a burned semitrailer south of the town 20 miles southwest of Sioux Falls.
Authorities didn’t immediately identify anyone involved.
Johnson says crime scene processing didn’t wrap up until 3 a.m. Friday. He says officials are working to determine a possible motive.
