Rapid City Police Charge 20-year-old With Man’s Slaying
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Rapid City authorities have arrested a man in connection with the slaying of a man whose body was found early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance around 12:20 a.m. at a home on Signal Drive and found the body of the man inside.
The police and sheriff departments say 20-year-old Anthony ‘Tayshawn” Moses Smith, of Rapid City, was charged with second-degree murder. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
The name of the man found dead won’t be released until his family is notified.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning to determine the victim’s cause of death.
