Highway Patrol Trooper Involved In Crash In Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper was involved in a crash that sent another person to the hospital.

Rapid City police say Trooper Brock Olson was helping in the search for a vehicle involved in an unrelated call Monday when a car driven by 50-year-old Ranee Haglund of Rapid City collided with his squad car.

KEVN-TV reports ( ) that Haglund was cited for failing to yield. She was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
