Ellsworth Air Force Base Commander Lands Job At Pentagon
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — The commander of Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota has been selected for a position at the Pentagon.
Col. Kevin Kennedy with the 28th Bomb Wing will be director of warfighter systems and cyberspace integration for the secretary of the Air Force in Washington, D.C.
Kennedy has been commander at Ellsworth since April 2013. He’ll be replaced this summer by Col. Gentry Boswell, who is currently the director of irregular warfare operations at the Pentagon.
