26-year-old Sioux Falls Man Hospitalized Following Stabbing

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A stabbing in Sioux Falls has left a young man hospitalized.

Fifty-year-old Dennis Ghost Bear is facing an aggravated assault charge for allegedly stabbing a 26-year-old man near a shelter house.

Witnesses told police they saw Ghost Bear stab the younger man near the 800 block of East 10th Street. Police say they found Ghost Bear with a small knife.

The victim was transported to Avera McKennan hospital. Authorities say his injuries are not life threatening.
