SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Fire prompted evacuation of a motel in Sioux Falls, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters responded to the Cloud 9 Motel about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after a motel employee noticed smoke coming from a room. Fire crews put out the blaze in about 15 minutes.

Officials say the room suffered moderate fire and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
