Two Sioux City roller derby clubs are donating proceeds from upcoming bouts to a University of South Dakota organization.

Saturday, the Sioux City Roller Dames and Korn Stalkers will each play a home match. Because both teams are non-profit organizations, they donate a portion of their proceeds from home games to various charities. For this weekend’s games, the teams have selected Nikki’s Fund as their charity.

Nikki’s Fund at USD raises money for suicide prevention programs as well as counseling services on campus.

The games start at 7 p.m. at the Long Lines Family Rec Center in Sioux City. It’s also Student Appreciation Night, so students with a college ID will receive discounted ticket prices.
