Vermillion Exhale Wellness Spa opened its doors in January. The spa strives to provide the community with a place to reset, relax and rejuvenate.
After being open for only three months, Chelsey Green, Spa director said, before the city-wide shutdown, Exhale Wellness Spa is trying to do its part in limiting the spread of COVID-19, while still offering a relaxing experience for customers.
“Our number one concern is the client’s health and wellness and changing the way we do things to keep everyone safe,” Green said.
Green said, customers’ temperatures are being taken at the door, wellness attendants are cleaning all surfaces after being touched and masks are required for all staff and clients.
“The space here isn’t designed for crowds anyways. Each service has its own designated area, only accommodating 1-2 persons,” Green said.
Exhale Wellness Spa offers a variety of services, Green said, including a Halo Cabin Salt Therapy, full-spectrum infrared sauna, HydroMassage lounger, oxygen bar, medication lounge, massage therapy and aromatherapy.
As of now, the guided meditation services are on pause, due to COVID.
Green said there are a few requirements put in place to jump-start a peaceful session. She said they try to offer the most relaxing environment for their customers.
“Exhale Wellness Spa is specifically designed for a relaxing spa experience,” Green said. “We have clients take their shoes off instantly when coming into the door, put on a pair of disposable slippers, and change into a robe before their service.”
Green said the spa’s design has a modern Scandinavian Zen feel, to enhance relaxation.
“The environment is very calm, quiet, and peaceful. There is low toned relaxation music playing without any words,” Drake said. “Essential oils are used in diffusers or sandalwood is being burned, so there is a slight scent that is relaxing.”
Exhale Wellness Spa incorporates all of the minor details to enhance the relaxing spa experience, Drake said.
“There’s something about exhale – you walk in the door and you’re immediately calm, everything about it is just calm,” Drake said.
