The Coyotes started their season at the Wyoming Tournament where they faced Gonzaga, DePaul, Oregon State and Wyoming, and ended up 1-3 in the tournament with an exciting win over Oregon State.
Senior Tahnee Reed was thrilled after winning such a big game. “It was such an incredible feeling after we beat them, especially since my dad came all the way out to Wyoming and for us to win that game,” Reed said.
This the first time the Coyotes have beaten a Pacific Atlantic 12 Conference (PAC 12) team.
Coach Matt Houk was thrilled to have beaten such a well-known opponent. “It was great beating them,” Houk said. “Definitely an exciting win for the us.”
