In the Know & in the Dark: March 21
in the know & in the dark
IN THE KNOW: March Madness upsets. It’s refreshing and exciting to know that any team truly has a shot of winning on any given day.
IN THE DARK: Busted brackets. As fun as those upsets are though, it’s not like many people had Norfolk State beating Missouri.
IN THE KNOW: University of South Dakota women’s basketball. Advancing in the post-season is never a simple task, but the women did well this year.
IN THE DARK: The return from spring break. Yes it means we’re entering the final stretch, but that doesn’t make it any easier after a week off.
IN THE KNOW: Kansas coming to USD to perform with the symphonic band. You know your symphonic band is awesome when they play classic rock. Know what’s even more awesome: when said symphonic band plays classic rock with the band that made those songs.
IN THE DARK: The state of South Dakota. Congratulations S. Dak., you were one of eight states to receive an F in the Center for Public Integrity’s report on corruption in state governments due to lack of transparency and accountability to the citizens. We couldn’t even beat North Dakota, who received a D-.
