In the Know & in the Dark: September 19
IN THE KNOW: The football team traveling to Northwestern this weekend. Let’s try and pull off another Big 10 upset.
IN THE DARK: Football team bye weeks. We know you like to have a week off but not tailgating in such nice weather is a shame.
IN THE KNOW: Classes being cut short during long weeks. The extra time is put to excellent use. We assure you.
IN THE DARK: Full weeks of classes. Why can’t every other week be a four day week? Not having those long Mondays makes a huge difference throughout the week.
IN THE KNOW: Friendliness on campus. Haven’t heard of bad fights or people not getting along. Good job people.
IN THE DARK: Freshmen that push the crosswalk button on Cherry Street when there are only a couple of cars driving past. In the future, wait for the two cars to pass, then you can walk across. It’s not rocket science.
IN THE KNOW: People that read the Volante last week. We wouldn’t be here if wasn’t for our readers like you.
IN THE DARK: People that don’t read the Volante. It’s a free newspaper, as in you don’t have to pay anything for it. You would be surprised how much smarter you will seem about USD if you read our newspaper.
