Veterans to be honored at last home game

Veterans, active military personnel and their families will be honored during Military Appreciation Day at the University of South Dakota’s home football game vs. Northern Iowa at noon Nov. 10 at the DakotaDome.

Veterans and military personnel will be admitted for free to the football game with a coupon, while tickets for their family members will be half the price of regular admission.

Military Appreciation Day also includes free admission to Coyote Tailgate Nation.

Military Appreciation Day will feature a halftime performance by the Sound of USD honoring service men and women and a special presentation of the game ball by USD’s ROTC unit.

Military Appreciation Day coupons are available at the Muenster University Center Information Desk, USD ROTC office, the Vermillion Eagles Club, Vermillion National Guard Armory, Yankton National Guard Armory, Sioux City Air National Guard Base and Army National Guard Armory, Sioux Falls National Guard Armory or online at GoYotes.com.
