Obama: After airstrikes in Syria, U.S. will ‘take the fight’ to ISIS
President Obama spoke about the developing crisis with ISIS from the south lawn of the White House on the morning of Sept. 23.
President Obama’s plan is to meet with other countries to cut off ISIS’s finacing and stop the flow of fighters into the region. The Sept. 22 attacks scattered jihadist forces and damaged their networking in Syria.
He emphasized that the operation included Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain. The President said, “We’re going to do what is necessary to take the fight to this terrorist group.”
